inOur photo group had another meet up on Monday, which happened to be a full moon. We went to the Chicago Full Moon Fire Jam. Here’s an old video clip I found on You-Tube. This was different but so much fun to watch the different artist express themselves.

inMy daughter treated us to an evening luau dinner at Brookfield Zoo. The evening started at 6:30 pm (after closing) with a safari ride to the dolphin exhibit and ended at 10:30 p.m. after a lovely dinner and drinks. This was mostly an adult event and it was an amazing experience. Thank you Sandrita for this amazing gift. I had such a great time.
I’ve taken creative liberties with these images that I normally would not- but since they are my personal stash I played. You can view the whole set on my Facebook Page

inI’ve been holding on to a set of images for the past month and a half. I wanted to make sure I could do these pictures justice. It’s my mother in laws birthday from July. I am really lucky to be able to have a great relationship with my in-laws. Words cannot express what they mean to me. Suffice it to say “Jan and Alex – I love you guys, thank you so much for your support.”

inTasha is a 12 or 13ish year old Pit Bull – she’s a total sweetie. Melissa and Gino asked me to do their family photos because Tasha has recently been diagnosed with a brain tumor. She is definitely their baby. She has a great disposition and it was a pleasure meeting her. I’m really honored that Melissa and Gino asked me to photograph them. Especially since Melissa does some photography of her own. Thank you for letting me share a small part of your life.

To those of you who follow my blog please pardon my absence. I needed some time to rest and recoup and get some things in order. I’m still working on the “order” think but I feel 100% better than I had been feeling. Thanks for continuing to follow.
